Company History Prior to 1995: Our company founder, Matt Jones, was working as a professional stage lighting tech and lighting designer. He toured world-wide for over a decade with superstars like, Cher, Madonna, The Beach Boys, Bruce Springstein, Huey Lewis and The News, and Barbra Streisand. When back at home in Reno, he was frequently asked to provide specialized technical skill to local productions and events of every kind. He decided on the unique name "Eccentric" for his own company once he realized, "I must be crazy to still be doing this!” 1995: Eccentric Enterprise was formed providing design, consultation, equipment, crews, technical production and event management. 2001: Eccentric Enterprise was incorporated in Nevada and became known as Eccentric Enterprise, Inc. Bright Productions became the trade name for our production company serving Northern Nevada with locally owned professional equipment, design, event management and technical services. 2008: XN-Tric was added as our sales company providing the only specialized retailer of entertainment products and equipment in the area. 2010: Our Corporation reorganized its business structure facilitating the closure of Bright Productions after 10 years of dedicated service to the technical entertainment production industry. 2011 and beyond! XN-Tric continues to grow, and continues to provide Expendable & Equipment Sales to Northern Nevada and surrounding areas. Eccentric Enterprise, Inc. is also still going strong, offering professional venue and lighting design, event management and technical services.
